What makes Tumblr so great is you can connect with people from all around the world. One of the downsides of hosting a sweepstakes blog is I tend to cater to people who live in the U.S. and Canada. But after a second or two hanging out with my good pal Google I came across some (non-Tumblr) blogs that are specifically for international giveaways.
The first one I found was good but the author hasn’t posted anything in a year but then I found International Giveaways Blog and its active. This would be a good option for those who live outside of the U.S. and want some sweepstakes love. I’m looking out for you guys.

I just finished my first month of my challenge to maximize my Swagbucks points.
What are swagbucks you ask? You might want to read my previous post here.
For everyone else I’ll continue. I’ve had a swagbucks.com account for a little over a year and never really used the site to its fullest potential. But I was reading around and found out that you can earn points to redeem to buy items in the Swagbucks Store. So if I could get enough points I could redeem them for gifts for my family and friends.
So at the beginning of my challenge I started off with about 160 swagbucks and yesterday I ended the day with 774 swagbucks. So I added 614 points to my account in May. At that rate by November I’ll have a little over 3000 points, but I want to do double that and I think I can.

I have to first ask you what country do you live in? There are more opportunities to enter giveaways for people who live in the US & Canada. If you live in another country its harder to find legitimate giveaways to enter.
I tend to stay away from tumblr giveaways because they’re not regulated so you do not know if someone is having a real giveaway or they’re trying to get followers and there is no prize. I’m making the assumption you live outside the US & Canada. My tips for tumblr giveaways is look for giveaways that are giving away small prizes. If someone is giving away an iPad, Macbook Air, a DSLR Camera & tons of clothes watch out that’s probably a scam. Also ask them lots of questions about their giveaway if you can’t find the answer in the rules they provide. If they avoid answering your questions you need to watch out. Most people who have giveaways on tumblr don’t know how to set up a proper contest. They mostly do it for attention. They see other people do it so it looks easy but what they don’t know is they can get in trouble for doing this. Not saying to stop entering them just really pay attention to what they’re doing.

Now to answer your question
I go on websites that have sweepstakes/giveaway listings, you can do a simple google search to find them. So some searches you can do are for Sweeties Sweeps, Contest Bee, Sweeps Advantage and try to do a search for a lady named Sandra Grauschopf she writes for About (dot) com’s Sweepstakes blog.
I’m what people like to call a sweeper, that means I enter a lot of giveaways a week. I would say a minimum of 100 a week. That’s how I win so much stuff. I also sign up to get free samples of things when companies offer them.
I have to stress that I enter contests that are held by mostly big companies. In your country I would try to look for companies that have good reputations who hold contests. If you”re in your teens look for the teen magazine websites to see if they are holding any giveaways.
